Top 5 Favourite 'Liv Rooney' Moments - Liv and Maddie

Image
Well tonight’s the night! Liv and Maddie returns for its second season with an episode titled ‘ Premiere-a-Rooney ’. For the past few days I’ve been posting my top five favourite moments from each member of the Rooney family, and now it’s Liv’s turn. Without further delay, here are my top five favourite ‘Liv Rooney’ moments from the first season of Liv and Maddie . 5. Bam Who!? (Twin-a-Rooney) Only an actress like Liv could try to land Maddie a date to the dance and fail miserably. At least we know that Diggie only has eyes for Maddie. 4. Kang-a-Liv (Kang-a-Rooney) As an Aussie myself I was quite impressed with Liv’s attempt at an Australian actress while inside a Kangaroo suit for Halloween. Plus her flirting with Joey made for a very funny episode. 3. Smarty Liv (Brain-a-Rooney) Liv is much smarter than her Sing It Loud character, something she proves wholeheartedly after she wins the Brain Olympics for her team. 2. Space Werewolves (Space-W

Top 5 Favourite 'Maddie Rooney' Moments - Liv and Maddie

Not long now before the second season of Liv and Maddie premieres on Disney Channel. But before we watch ‘ Premiere-a-Rooney ’ I’m counting down my top five favourite moments from each member of the Rooney family. Without further delay, here are my top five favourite ‘Maddie Rooney’ moments from season one of Liv and Maddie . 5. Giant Guillotine (Sleep-a-Rooney) Tell the truth here guys, who hasn’t dreamed of being able to build a giant guillotine instead of writing a twenty page report. Maddie and Willow are lucky enough to get to build one instead of writing their report, and can I just say it looks awesome! 4. Maddie Break Dances (Howl-a-Rooney) I didn’t think there was any way for Maddie to get any cooler, and then she goes and shows off her break dancing skills. 3. Winning over the Fanboys (Switch-a-Rooney) When Liv is unable to win over the fanboys and Maddie is unable to pass her driver’s test, the girls pull a switch-a-Rooney, allowing Maddie to

Taylor Swift 'Shake It Off' - Music Video Review

Image
Taylor Swift is not afraid to tell the haters that she doesn’t care what they think. The former country artist has just announced her first ever 100% pop album 1989 and has released the first single which skyrocketed to number one on the charts. Shake It Off is an upbeat song with a catchy beat and some very sassy lyrics. Over the course of the song Taylor tells haters that no matter what they do or say she’s just gonna shake it off and get on with her life. Good for you Taylor! The accompanying music video looks like it was a bundle of fun to film. The video stars Taylor and her dancers rocking out to the song and showcasing different dance styles including ballet, modern, hip hop and even cheerleading. The song has an almost rap element to it where Taylor rocks out to an old school boom box. That’s not all though. The video also stars some of Taylor’s biggest fans rocking out to her new song. Seeing as the video was filmed two months before its release, those fans must

Top 5 Favourite 'Joey Rooney' Moments - Liv and Maddie

Image
The second season premiere of Liv and Maddie is only a few days away, and I’m counting down my top five favourite moments from each member of the Rooney family to celebrate. So, here they are; my top five favourite ‘Joey Rooney’ moments from the first season of Liv and Maddie . 5. The Key of Power (BFF-a-Rooney) Joey has teamed up with Artie only a few times over the course of the season, one of which was at Pete and Karen’s high school reunion. They team up in order to find the coveted ‘Key of Power’ only to find it to be a hoax set up to trick the current students. 4. Skateboard Mishaps (Skate-a-Rooney) After finding out his friend from childhood is his favourite skateboarder, Joey has to help him out when he wipes out badly enough that he can’t ride in the competition. 3. The Z-Phone Wrap (Steal-a-Rooney) Okay, so just like Joey most of us are probably glued to our phones, but I don’t know of anyone who would accidentally make their phone into a wra

Ariana Grande My Everything Track by Track

Ariana Grande’s sophomore album   My Everything   was one of the most talked about albums this year, and now it’s finally out and we can listen to it on repeat. Just on pre-orders alone the album had been slowly climbing to the top of the charts, and now that it has been released its hit Number 1 in 76 countries. Can you say amazing? The new album from everyone’s favourite singer features 12 songs, but if you bought the deluxe edition you get 15 and if you bought the target exclusive edition then you got 17. With collaborations on eight of the 17 songs I’ll be breaking them down track by track. 1.   Intro The album opener is a simple song that goes for 1 minute and 20 seconds and features Ariana asking her fans to join her on “this road to the sky”. Although short, this song is perfect for introducing us to her new sound and to her sophomore album. 2.   Problem (feat. Iggy Azalea) Released on April 28 as the first single from the album,   Problem   was our first taste

Top 5 Favourite 'Parker Rooney' Moments - Liv and Maddie

Image
The second season premiere of Liv and Maddie just keeps getting closer and I can't wait to see the first episode appropriately titled ' Premiere-a-Rooney '. In the lead up to the premiere I'm posting my top five favourite moments from each member of the Rooney family. Here are my top five favourite Parker Rooney moments from the first season of Liv and Maddie . 5. Parker Paste (Dodge-a-Rooney) Who remembers when Parker made his own glue? Sure it failed miserably in the end, but in the beginning it certainly seemed like it would win invention of the year. 4. Parker's Tunnels   (Move-a-Rooney) We've all known Parker to be a little odd, but how great are his tunnels? I mean, apart from getting the Rooney house infested with bugs. 3. Booby-Traps (Kang-a-Rooney) Parker sure does love his clown ornament, enough so that he booby-traps the yard to try and figure out who was stealing it. Imagine his surprise when it turned out to be Karen! 2. Crus

Megan Nicole 'Electrified' - Lyric Video Review

Image
Get ready for a blast to the past because Megan Nicole is bringing back the 80s with her new single. Electrified has a very strong 80s vibe which only makes me love the song that much more. With an upbeat melody and catchy lyrics Megan is on a winner with this song, so it comes as no surprise that this is the first single off her very first EP titled Escape . Electrified just makes you want to stand on the tables and dance your heart out. If you didn’t immediately jump out of your chair and start doing the sprinkler when you first heard the song then I’m afraid we just can’t be friends. The lyric video for Electrified is exactly what you would expect it to be. It’s got some bad 80s graphics and is just bursting with neon colours. Seriously, you could be blinded by the brightness of the lyrics against the old television setting. Still it’s not a video to be missed so I’m including it at the bottom of this entry. So what do you think of Electrified ? Has Megan got you d

Top 5 Favourite 'Karen Rooney' Moments - Liv and Maddie

Image
We are one day closer to the second season premiere of Liv and Maddie and I for one am getting very excited. Everyday leading up the premiere I'll be posting a video detailing my top five favourite moments from each member of the family. Today's family member? None other than Karen Rooney. So, here are my top five favourite Karen moments from Liv and Maddie 's first season. 5. Handy Credit Card (Mom-a-Rooney) Karen teaches us a valuable lesson in this episode... always carry a credit card! That and Mom always knows best. 4. The Perfect Pumps (Shoe-a-Rooney) Just like Maddie, Karen gets obsessed with Liv's pair of perfect pumps and the scene where she is looking for them in Liv and Maddie's room is one of her best. 3. Face-Gabbing Failure   (Move-a-Rooney) Karen just can't seem to get the hang of her new phone no matter how much she tries. She has trouble with her A-P-Ps and Face-Gabbing is definitely one of them. 2. Isis   (Br

The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 1 First Trailer

Image
With the release date of The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 1  coming closer and closer, Lionsgate has released the movie's first full trailer and it is everything a fan would want. Running at just under 1 minute 30 seconds this new trailer gave fans an insight into the world of District 13, as well as other districts that have been overrun with war. Katniss tells President Snow that she never wanted any of this, she just wanted to keep Prim safe. President Snow of course doesn't care and we are taken to District 13 where we are shown a flurry of new and familiar faces. I've been wondering for awhile now how they planned on splitting the book into two films, and now it seems as though the first film will be focused on Katniss trying to get Peeta back from the Capital. I still don't know if splitting the book was a good idea but I suppose we'll find out in November. Check out the first full trailer below and let me know what you think. Stay random! ~ Jenna

Lucy Hale Lie A Little Better - Music Video Review

Image
No one knows how to lie better than Aria Montgomery on Pretty Little Liars , but it looks like her actress Lucy Hale could use some lessons. It’s no secret that her newest single Lie a Little Better is about having a crush on one of her PLL co-stars, but as to who the song is about she’s keeping a pretty tight lip. The music video for Lie a Little Better is very different to the video for her first single. While that one was more of a story video, this one is quite elegant and is primarily just Lucy, her band and a microphone. The video was filmed at the Opry House in Nashville which I’m told is the birthplace of country music. Personally I have no idea since before this video I’d never even heard of the Opry House before, but from what I can gather it’s a pretty big deal getting to film a music video here. I’ve included a link to the music video below so be sure to check it out and let me know what you think of Lucy singing her heart out and riding around in a shopping

Top Five Favourite 'Pete Rooney' Moments - Liv and Maddie

Image
With the second season premiere of Disney Channel Original Series Liv and Maddie right around the corner, I thought I’d do a series of blogs starting with this one detailing my top five favourite moments from each member of the family. So, without further ado here is my top five favourite Pete Rooney moments from season one of Liv and Maddie . 5. The ‘Party Dance’ (Howl-a-Rooney) Who can forget Pete and Karen’s infamous ‘party dance’ that embarrasses Liv but the rest of the family have no trouble in joining in? 4. Bad Guy Sandwich (Sleep-a-Rooney) Being squished between two car thieves in the back of a cop car was not exactly the kind of sandwich Pete had in mind when he tried to take Joey to the Pastrami Palace, but it certainly made an amusing one! 3. The Love Note (Song-a-Rooney) Sure most of the love notes Pete wrote to Karen came from the Lovey-Dovey lizard, but that very first note came from the bottom of Pete’s heart. This is just one of the
