Okay, so Hilary Duff was one of my favourite stars when I was growing up. I had all the albums, all the movies and had Lizzie McGuire on my TV more than anything else. So when I heard that she was bringing out new music I kind of freaked out and may have run through the streets screaming out the news... well maybe not, but I felt like I could. Chasing the Sun is the first in hopefully a long line of new songs from Hilary. It has a real summery feel to it and is just all around perfect. After hearing the song for the first time I found myself digging around for my old Metamorphosis CD and listening to it on repeat for the rest of the day. Along with the release of this new song came the release of the music video. The video is a very simply concept and is the perfect companion to the song. How would you describe Ariana Grande’s music video for Break Free ? Epic, sexy and entertaining were the three words that came to mind the first time I watched the video. Just like the song itself, this video is very different to anything Ariana has done before and can I just say that although she may have been nervous about branching out she didn’t need to be. The video was amazing and if you haven’t seen it yet because you’ve been living under a rock or you accidentally threw your laptop at a wall then click on the video below and prepare to have your mind blown. The cheeky Star Wars style message at the beginning of the video had me wondering exactly what I was getting myself into. Ariana had posted a few teaser photos on her Instagram and I was buzzing with excitement at what she and Zedd were going to show us. I was not disappointed. Episode six of CBS’ summer hit Under the Dome was full of exciting reveals and some deadly twists. The residents of Chester’s Mill found themselves battling a dust storm which could clog the dome and cut off the air supply while Barbie and Sam investigate the tunnels found below the school in the previous episode. SPOILERS BELOW Junior and Sam head straight down into the tunnel behind the locker without waiting for backup. After all - Junior thinks Lyle is down there! Luckily, Rebecca calls for Barbie and he heads over to the school to join the boys in the tunnel. Junior finds Pauline’s journal and picks it up only to trigger an explosion which cuts Sam and Barbie off from Junior and the way out. At the diner Jim takes it upon himself to warn Julia that eventually she’ll disappoint the people and they’ll turn on her. Instead of getting all worked up about it she decides to reveal to Melanie that the egg is currently lying at the bottom of the lake. When she hears of the c

JARBIE! Angie’s killer revealed! Plus have our heroes found a way out of the dome? Episode five of Under the Dome sure makes it look that way, but this show has definitely been known to throw some red herrings at us in the past whenever we start getting too close to an answer. SPOILERS AHEAD!! This episode was definitely dominated by Big Jim’s ploy to get out of jail and Julia’s attempt to rally the town behind her. Although Julia only managed to get half the town on her side, Jim did manage to get himself and Rebecca out of jail, though all signs point to him no longer seeing eye to eye with Rebecca after she decided not to go through with the genocide scheme in the previous episode. My guess? Those two won’t be working together for much longer. At the town meeting Julia asks people to participate in a voluntary food share program, but Jim’s presence for his trial complicates things and a riot breaks out, causing Phil to kill a man in front of everyone.
