Late last year my sister’s friends got her hooked on this little show called Supernatural . Nine seasons and ten months later and she’s waiting anxiously for the tenth series to premiere and begging me to watch it. Okay, begging probably isn’t the right word here but she definitely bugged me constantly and told me that she thought I’d like it... she was right. Roughly a month and a half before the tenth season premiered, I started the first season and made a vow to be done by the time Sam tried to find Dean for about the billionth time. And you know what? I did it. It took about six weeks of constant watching. I didn’t do anything else except watch the show. Now watching it week by week is a bit of a letdown. The first five seasons of the show were fantastic. When I realised that Eric Kripke was the show’s creator I knew instantly I was going to fall in love with it. Any fan of the Marvel Cinematic Universe has been waiting on the edge of their seats for a glimpse of Avengers: Age of Ultron . Despite the announcement that the official teaser trailer would make its world premiere during ABC’s Agents of S.H.E.I.L.D on October 28 th , the full trailer was released by Marvel on October 22 nd after it was leaked online. Barely any information was given in the two minute trailer, but it certainly gave us just enough to leave us wanting more. Mainly the trailer was full of action packed sequences and crowds of people screaming in terror. We are given glimpses of new characters, siblings Scarlet Witch and Quicksilver as well as the villainous Ultron who looks to have been assembled with destroyed elements of Iron Man’s past suits. The upcoming blockbuster stars an ensemble cast including Robert Downey Jr., Chris Evans, Chris Hemsworth, Mark Ruffalo, Scarlett Johansson, Jeremy Renner, Samuel L. After finding out a month ago that Megan Nicole had an EP coming out, I haven’t been able to cope waiting for it to drop. Luckily for me I didn’t have to wait long and now that I’ve purchased the album I’ve been listening the songs on an endless loop. Just in case you’ve been living under a rock since the EP came out, I’m breaking it down track by track. 1.       Electrified The opener for the EP is the throwback to the ‘80s single we’ve all fallen head over heels for. The song is fun and upbeat and a fantastic introduction to the EP and to Megan’s new sound. 2.       Fun After Megan posted a photo on twitter showing a bench with the word ‘fun’ written in graffiti on the side, I’m about 98% sure that this song is destined to be the second single off the album. What a perfect choice. With its catchy melody and easy to remember lyrics, Fun is the perfect song to listen to when you’re getting ready for a night out with your friends. 3.       Alright The third song

I’m not going to lie to you guys, for the longest time I thought that Disney’s Tomorrowland was going to be animated. Imagine my surprise when I figured out that it was live-action and would be starring some of my favourite actors. Although the film is not scheduled to be released until May next year, the first teaser trailer for Tomorrowland has been released and it definitely lives up to the idea of a ‘teaser’. We are barely given any information at all, but for now let’s breakdown what we do know. In the two minute trailer we are introduced to Casey, played by Britt Robertson, a teen bursting with scientific curiosity who may not be the most model citizen, and Frank, played by George Clooney, a former boy-genius inventor. The trailer doesn’t really give us any in-depth ideas about either character, though it’s a pretty fair assumption that Casey may have some trouble with authority seeing as in the trailer she is picking up her belongings from the police station. Possibly one of my favourite things is getting to see movies for free, so when my sister asked me if I wanted to join her and a friend in seeing The Maze Runner I was more than happy to come along, even though I was only invited because they needed a ride. The Maze Runner centres around Thomas, a boy who wakes up in a rusty elevator with no memory of who he is. He comes to learn that he is the latest in a long line of boys who have been delivered to the middle of an intricate maze. The boys then work together in an attempt to find their way out of the ever-changing maze, all while wondering who is WCKD and why did they put the boys in the maze. The film stars Dylan O’Brien, Kaya Scodelario, Thomas Brodie-Sangster, Ki Hong Lee, and Will Poulter. I have to say, this is a book to screen adaption that I thoroughly enjoyed. Sabrina Carpenter skyrocketed to fame after the premiere of her show Girl Meets World on Disney Channel in June. But Sabrina was already in the public eye before being cast as the rebellious Maya Hart. Before her role on Girl Meets World , Sabrina had been posting covers on YouTube and her voice was so good she was signed to Hollywood Records. Earlier this year she put out an EP featuring four original songs, each one as amazing as the last. I was thrilled when I found out that the second single off the EP was going to be my favourite song, The Middle of Starting Over . With its upbeat tempo and inspiring lyrics, this song is not one to be missed. Just recently Sabrina released a music video for The Middle of Starting Over , featuring her and a few friends rocking out and having the time of their lives. The video is full of colourful sets and fun scenarios. Sabrina and friends engage in pillow fights, balloon fights and taking Polaroid photos, all while singing along to a gre

Megan Nicole promises a shockingly good time in her music video for newest single Electrified . The ‘80s style workout video is reminiscent of Olivia Newton-John’s Physical video and will have you dancing around in your seat. The video begins with a word of warning to all - not all exercises are suitable for everyone and you should consult a physician before attempting the sweet dance moves. The video moves in to show a group of people in old ‘80s fluoro wear getting ready to do some jazzercise. With its vibrant colours, and playful sets, the Electrified video is one worth watching. Megan looks gorgeous in the video with ‘80s style outfits really suiting her. Then again, this is coming from the girl who spends most of her times in a signature tutu and doc martins. Electrified is the first official single from Megan’s new EP Escape , due to be released 14 th October. The season two finale of Under the Dome has aired and we have once again been left with more questions than answers. After an intense 45 minutes where I sat on the edge of my seat and yelled at most of the characters, I finished the episode with my hand in the air complaining that I had some logic problems with the second season’s final episode. SPOILERS BELOW Go Now certainly had its fair share of deaths with four residents of Chester’s Mill meeting their end within the 45 minute episode. Tom Tilden was killed by a lightning strike after the dome started going crazy, and Pauline Rennie died after being stabbed in the back by high school boyfriend Lyle Chumley. Pauline didn’t die for the knife wound though oh no, Rebecca Pine administered a lethal dose of morphine at Pauline’s request, a decision which played a hand in ending Rebecca’s life. Well tonight’s the night! Liv and Maddie returns for its second season with an episode titled ‘ Premiere-a-Rooney ’. For the past few days I’ve been posting my top five favourite moments from each member of the Rooney family, and now it’s Liv’s turn. Without further delay, here are my top five favourite ‘Liv Rooney’ moments from the first season of Liv and Maddie . 5. Bam Who!? (Twin-a-Rooney) Only an actress like Liv could try to land Maddie a date to the dance and fail miserably. At least we know that Diggie only has eyes for Maddie. 4. Taylor Swift is not afraid to tell the haters that she doesn’t care what they think. The former country artist has just announced her first ever 100% pop album 1989 and has released the first single which skyrocketed to number one on the charts. Shake It Off is an upbeat song with a catchy beat and some very sassy lyrics. Over the course of the song Taylor tells haters that no matter what they do or say she’s just gonna shake it off and get on with her life. Good for you Taylor! The accompanying music video looks like it was a bundle of fun to film. The video stars Taylor and her dancers rocking out to the song and showcasing different dance styles including ballet, modern, hip hop and even cheerleading. The song has an almost rap element to it where Taylor rocks out to an old school boom box. That’s not all though. The video also stars some of Taylor’s biggest fans rocking out to her new song. The second season premiere of Liv and Maddie is only a few days away, and I’m counting down my top five favourite moments from each member of the Rooney family to celebrate. So, here they are; my top five favourite ‘Joey Rooney’ moments from the first season of Liv and Maddie . 5. The Key of Power (BFF-a-Rooney) Joey has teamed up with Artie only a few times over the course of the season, one of which was at Pete and Karen’s high school reunion. Ariana Grande’s sophomore album   My Everything   was one of the most talked about albums this year, and now it’s finally out and we can listen to it on repeat. Just on pre-orders alone the album had been slowly climbing to the top of the charts, and now that it has been released its hit Number 1 in 76 countries. Can you say amazing? The new album from everyone’s favourite singer features 12 songs, but if you bought the deluxe edition you get 15 and if you bought the target exclusive edition then you got 17. With collaborations on eight of the 17 songs I’ll be breaking them down track by track. 1.   Intro The album opener is a simple song that goes for 1 minute and 20 seconds and features Ariana asking her fans to join her on “this road to the sky”. Here are my top five favourite Parker Rooney moments from the first season of Liv and Maddie . 5. Parker Paste (Dodge-a-Rooney) Who remembers when Parker made his own glue? Sure it failed miserably in the end, but in the beginning it certainly seemed like it would win invention of the year. 4. Get ready for a blast to the past because Megan Nicole is bringing back the 80s with her new single. Electrified has a very strong 80s vibe which only makes me love the song that much more. With an upbeat melody and catchy lyrics Megan is on a winner with this song, so it comes as no surprise that this is the first single off her very first EP titled Escape . Electrified just makes you want to stand on the tables and dance your heart out. If you didn’t immediately jump out of your chair and start doing the sprinkler when you first heard the song then I’m afraid we just can’t be friends. The lyric video for Electrified is exactly what you would expect it to be. It’s got some bad 80s graphics and is just bursting with neon colours. Seriously, you could be blinded by the brightness of the lyrics against the old television setting. Still it’s not a video to be missed so I’m including it at the bottom of this entry. We are one day closer to the second season premiere of Liv and Maddie and I for one am getting very excited. Everyday leading up the premiere I'll be posting a video detailing my top five favourite moments from each member of the family. Today's family member? None other than Karen Rooney. So, here are my top five favourite Karen moments from Liv and Maddie 's first season. 5. Handy Credit Card (Mom-a-Rooney) Karen teaches us a valuable lesson in this episode... always carry a credit card! That and Mom always knows best. 4. The Perfect Pumps (Shoe-a-Rooney) Just like Maddie, Karen gets obsessed with Liv's pair of perfect pumps and the scene where she is looking for them in Liv and Maddie's room is one of her best. 3. With the release date of The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 1  coming closer and closer, Lionsgate has released the movie's first full trailer and it is everything a fan would want. Running at just under 1 minute 30 seconds this new trailer gave fans an insight into the world of District 13, as well as other districts that have been overrun with war. Katniss tells President Snow that she never wanted any of this, she just wanted to keep Prim safe. President Snow of course doesn't care and we are taken to District 13 where we are shown a flurry of new and familiar faces. I've been wondering for awhile now how they planned on splitting the book into two films, and now it seems as though the first film will be focused on Katniss trying to get Peeta back from the Capital. No one knows how to lie better than Aria Montgomery on Pretty Little Liars , but it looks like her actress Lucy Hale could use some lessons. It’s no secret that her newest single Lie a Little Better is about having a crush on one of her PLL co-stars, but as to who the song is about she’s keeping a pretty tight lip. The music video for Lie a Little Better is very different to the video for her first single. While that one was more of a story video, this one is quite elegant and is primarily just Lucy, her band and a microphone. The video was filmed at the Opry House in Nashville which I’m told is the birthplace of country music. Personally I have no idea since before this video I’d never even heard of the Opry House before, but from what I can gather it’s a pretty big deal getting to film a music video here.
