Avengers: Age of Ultron Teaser Trailer

Any fan of the Marvel Cinematic Universe has been waiting on the edge of their seats for a glimpse of Avengers: Age of Ultron. Despite the announcement that the official teaser trailer would make its world premiere during ABC’s Agents of S.H.E.I.L.D on October 28th, the full trailer was released by Marvel on October 22nd after it was leaked online.

Barely any information was given in the two minute trailer, but it certainly gave us just enough to leave us wanting more. Mainly the trailer was full of action packed sequences and crowds of people screaming in terror.

We are given glimpses of new characters, siblings Scarlet Witch and Quicksilver as well as the villainous Ultron who looks to have been assembled with destroyed elements of Iron Man’s past suits.

The upcoming blockbuster stars an ensemble cast including Robert Downey Jr., Chris Evans, Chris Hemsworth, Mark Ruffalo, Scarlett Johansson, Jeremy Renner, Samuel L. Jackson, Cobie Smulders, James Spader, Elizabeth Olsen, Aaron Taylor-Johnson, and Paul Bettany.

According to the synopsis released by Marvel Studios, the latest instalment to the MCU will see our favourite Avengers go up against Ultron, a technological enemy who is hell bent on human extinction.

When Tony Stark tries to jumpstart a dormant peacekeeping program, things go awry and Earth’s Mightiest Heroes, including Iron Man, Captain America, Thor, The Incredible Hulk, Black Widow and Hawkeye, are put to the ultimate test as the fate of the planet hangs in the balance. As the villainous Ultron emerges, it is up to The Avengers to stop him from enacting his terrible plans, and soon uneasy alliances and unexpected action pave the way for a global adventure.

Despite not getting much information from the trailer I am still ridiculously excited for this film to be released in May next year. So far I haven’t been disappointed in any of Marvel’s films and the success of the first Avengers film puts a lot of pressure on the sequel to be even better.

Let me know what you thought of the trailer in the comments below. Are you excited for the film to be released?

Stay random!
