The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 1 Teaser Trailer
Well. After months of nothing but set photos and short 'Panem Address' trailers, we finally have some proper footage from The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 1. At San Diego Comic-Con over the weekend, Lionsgate released the first official teaser trailer from the film, and have dubbed it "Our Leader the Mockingjay."
Truthfully, the trailer really doesn't give us that much. We are introduced to Plutarch Heavensbee again and also to President Coin of District 13. We also get to see a brief shot of Natalie Dormer as Cressida. The main point of the trailer though is to show how Katniss is going to be used as the Mockingjay throughout the last two films.
I'll admit, I was and still am sceptical about their decision to split the last book into two films since I remember when reading the last one not a lot really happened in the first half of the book, but I have hope after the first two films were fantastic adaptations of their respective novels.
Running at only 60 seconds long this trailer is definitely just a "teaser" of what is to come, but I personally cannot wait for November to come around so that I can finally see the film.
